Screens, willow hoops
There are two of these screens on either side of a private garden in London. They were made in 1999 with willow woven onto a steel rod frame. The idea was developed with the client in order to soften the straight side walls of the garden. The shapes evolved from drawings of birds' nests and spiders' webs.
