The single 'Arch' from the island into the water was exhibited in the lake at Hillier's Arboretum in Hampshire in 1995. It is 2.5 metres high and made with bamboo from the Arboretum.

This idea was then developed on a trip to Luxembourg where Clare worked with psychiatric patients to create 'Columns', this colonnade of arches, in the Jardin de Wiltz.
