This mobile is made of hoops of painted rattan cane suspended with fishing line. It was created on the ground with a small central circle surrounded by increasingly larger circles. It looked like a sawn off tree trunk with ring lines showing how old it is.

In Oxford in 1993 it was suspended in the trees to a height of 8 metres, whereas in Bristol in 1994 it was suspended inside to a height of 2.5 metres producing a very different shape. Both times the mobile was so light it spun constantly.
